Crochet for Chemo Crochet for Chemo (C4C) connects knitters and crocheters, spreading kindness through fiberwork with donations of handmade hats and blankets to hospitals. Emergency Medical Slugs UCSC EMS is a student-run organization whose leaders and members are EMTs, first-aid responders, and those passionate about emergency medicine and campus safety. Unlike other student-run organizations, ours plays a critical role in the welfare and safety of students, faculty, and staff. Our organization utilizes the skill sets of UCSC students with varying degrees of emergency medical training to serve the campus community. Through fulfilling such a vital need, we have established ourselves to be the first line of defense in an emergency or crisis for a wide range of campus events, including concerts, athletic events, festivals, and any gatherings where first aid may be needed.
