SOMeCA is home to about 200 registered student organizations! These organizations are vital to the campus climate and community at the University of California, Santa Cruz for students to truly engage in their college experience.

Emergency Medical Slugs	We are the first and only pre-hospital based medicine club organization on campus. We aim to teach our members skills for Basic Life Support as well as provide different volunteer events where members are able to engage with medicine in college and earn volunteer/clinical hours. Grupo Folklorico Los Mejicas	Los Mejicas is a Mexican Folkloric dance group that has been a vibrant part of the UCSC community for 53 years! We are committed to teaching students from diverse ethnic backgrounds about the rich regional dances, music, and traditions that make up Mexican culture. Haluan Hip Hop Dance Troupe	Haluan, which translates to "of mixed nature" in Tagalog, is the hip-hop team housed under Bayanihan, established in 1992. Kappa Alpha Theta	Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, Kappa Alpha Theta exists to nurture each member throughout her college experience and to offer a lifelong opportunity for social, intellectual, and moral growth. Kappa Alpha Theta was founded in 1870, and the Theta Xi chapter at UC Santa Cruz was chartered in 2017.
