Cory Fong serves as the co-editor-in-chief of UC Santa Cruz's student-run newspaper of record, City on a Hill Press.
Before transferring to UC Santa Cruz, Fong attended Cosumnes River College in Sacramento, where he served as co-editor-in-chief for the campus' student-run newspaper, The Connection, as well as the associate editor and writer for Globus Mundi, the official publication of CRC's Department of Political Science and Global Studies. During his time there, he won numerous Journalism Association of Community College Awards for editorial writing, copy editing and ad design.
Cory is currently pursuing a degree in Literature, working as a writing assistant, and aiding in the development of a leadership program under the SOMeCA Action Research Group.
