On Thursday, November 7, 2019, Tiffany Dena Loftin spoke with UCSC.

This event was sponsored by SOL Council and SOMeCA for students to examine our national and local context in order to be active and effective agents of change. The program featured outstanding alumni speaker, Tiffany Dena Loftin who is the National Director of the NAACP Youth and College Division.

Following her talk, students were invited to engage in roundtable discussions to share experiences and ideas. Student facilitators held safe spaces for honest and respectful dialogue.
